Now have unwanted vent in the roof over the Bed courtesy of a large limb from the tree standing over our future home, Limb passed through outer Fibre Glass roof & Laminate Ceiling sheeting.
Though a very much unwanted event it will be more a costly inconvenience than a major set back, I will Patch the exterior roof with a Fibre Glass sheet. The interior repairs may require further contemplation as to the repairs best suited to the damage.
Once the Exterior damage has been repaired I will coat the entire roof with a Ceramic heat shielding paint, There are a lot of conflicting reports on how well these coatings work but I decided to try it for myself.
The damage inside the Ceiling will be covered by the TV unit which is to be mounted on a swing down mount built into the ceiling.
The photos of damage:
- I did not need this?
I tried to move the Csepel during the Cyclonic weather & managed to get bogged in the soft clay, the rear end sunk to the point where the rear suspension was sitting on the ground.
With my brother Andrews help We managed to design a lifting bracket which bolted to the rear hubs & we jacked each rear wheel set up to where we could pack timber under to extract the vehicle once the ground dried sufficiently.
The damage in the Interior roof lining was a bit of a worry at 1st as I thought it would create more unwanted expenses, However it has made me think a little harder (“” O”” the Pain ) & I have realized my original plain to fit the Bedroom TV to the Shower wall was space consuming & by fitting the TV to a swing down panel mounted in the Ceiling above the foot of the Bed this would free up space & cover the damage in the Inner Roof.
